Kim Go-eun, who is set to make viewers laugh and cry once more, shared, "As Yumi worked hard to succeed as a writer, her life became all about work, which is where Season 3 begins." She added, "Yumi finds herself unsure of what to do outside of work, even struggling with how to relax. As her cells awaken one by one, viewers will see Yumi regain her vitality."

Kim Go-eun further commented, "I believe the biggest reason 'Yumi's Cells' is loved is because of its relatability. The series captures the small, detailed emotions we experience in daily life, and the cells add humor to Yumi's situations, making it a point of connection for everyone. This season promises even more humor than the previous ones, so please look forward to it."

Meanwhile, the TVING original 'Yumi's Cells Season 3' will be exclusively pre-released on TVING every Monday at 6 PM with two episodes starting April 13, and will air on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM with one episode each.
