'I Am SOLO' Season 30 Concludes with Two Final Couples: A Recap

'I Am SOLO' Season 30 has wrapped up its romantic journey, culminating in the formation of two final couples. Previously, Young-soo found himself in a love triangle with Soon-ja and Ok-soon, leading to viewer speculation about his dominant behavior. However, as time passed, his genuine feelings for Ok-soon grew, ultimately resulting in a couple.

The episode aired on Wednesday, the 25th, on ENA and SBS Plus, showcasing the final choices of the 'I Am SOLO' Season 30 participants. The 'Special Edition for Men and Women' featured intersecting confessions and timing, leading to Young-soo and Ok-soon, and Young-sik and Young-ja becoming the 'final couples.' Meanwhile, Young-ho and Young-sook, as well as Young-chul and Jung-sook, remained supportive friends due to personality differences.

On the morning of the final selection, Young-chul prepared a special event for Jung-sook. He revisited her past comments, creating a 'Jung-sook Collection' with her favorite foods, spaces, and ambiance. Bringing her to the 'event room,' Young-chul confessed, "Being with you simplifies my thoughts and makes me comfortable," and "I feel like I've found my ideal type." Although deeply moved, Jung-sook tearfully expressed uncertainty about being the right match for Young-chul.

Young-sik also planned a final event for Young-ja, taking her to the place where they first connected in 'I Am SOLO.' He handed her a letter expressing his desire to amend his past shortcomings and asked for another chance. Meanwhile, Young-soo took Soon-ja for a walk to conclude their relationship. Soon-ja, despite feeling bittersweet, thanked Young-soo as they bid farewell.

After heartfelt exchanges, the final selection took place. Young-sik, revealing his vulnerability, chose Young-ja, who responded with a smile, forming a final couple. Young-soo and Ok-soon also chose each other.

Conversely, Young-ho and Young-sook did not overcome their differences, and although Young-chul chose Jung-sook, she did not reciprocate. Soon-ja, along with Sang-chul, Hyun-sook, and Kwang-soo, opted out of making a final choice. Young-soo, excited about his new relationship with Ok-soon, expressed eagerness for a weekend date, while Ok-soon looked forward to getting to know him better.
