Tension Rises in New Teaser for ENA's 'Scarecrow' Starring Park Hae-soo and Lee Hee-jun
Set to premiere on April 20, 'Scarecrow' released its second teaser on the 25th, showcasing the complex and tense relationship between Kang Tae-joo and Cha Si-young, played by Lee Hee-jun. The drama follows a detective investigating a serial killer, who unexpectedly teams up with someone he despises. Spanning from 1988 to 2019, the story revolves around two men entangled in a fateful connection. The cast includes Park Hae-soo, Lee Hee-jun, Kwak Sun-young, Song Geon-hee, Seo Ji-hye, Jung Moon-sung, Baek Hyun-jin, and Yoo Seung-mok.
The newly released teaser begins with Kang Tae-joo's tense whisper, "I'll catch you," as he becomes convinced that a series of murders in Gangseong are the work of the same perpetrator. However, his investigation takes an unexpected turn with the reappearance of Cha Si-young, who bullied him in school. While Cha Si-young greets him warmly, saying "I've missed you," Kang Tae-joo is reminded of his nightmarish past, creating a stark contrast that piques curiosity.
Park Hae-soo portrays Kang Tae-joo, a detective with keen observation skills and sharp instincts. After being demoted from Seoul to his hometown of Gangseong, he pursues the real culprit behind the serial murders. However, he faces a dilemma when he must collaborate with prosecutor Cha Si-young, the very person he despises, to catch the criminal he desperately wants to apprehend.
Lee Hee-jun plays Cha Si-young, an elite prosecutor with cold judgment and political savvy. He leads the investigation into the Gangseong serial murders as a stepping stone into politics, using any means necessary, even teaming up with Kang Tae-joo, the classmate he once bullied.
'Scarecrow' premieres on April 20 at 10 PM.
