Kim Jung-young Delivers Cool Yet Insightful Dating Advice in 'Efficient Meeting of Singles'
In episodes 7 of JTBC's weekend drama 'Efficient Meeting of Singles', aired on the 21st and 22nd, Kim Jung-young naturally portrayed the role of Park Jung-im, a mother who delivers a sharp yet warm-hearted dating advice to her daughter Lee Yi-young, played by Han Ji-min.
After returning home from a date with Song Tae-seop, played by Park Sung-hoon, Yi-young cautiously asked her mother, "Mom, just out of curiosity, what kind of guy do you think I should date?" Instead of describing an ideal boyfriend for her daughter, Jung-im firmly replied, "Am I the one dating him? If you're not sure enough to choose by yourself, don't date him."
In episode 8 of 'Efficient Meeting of Singles', Jung-im's attentive motherly side continued to shine. Yi-young found herself in an unexpected love triangle when she received a confession from Shin Ji-soo, played by Lee Ki-taek, and ran into Song Tae-seop. Flustered, she returned home and told Jung-im she had met a friend. Observing her daughter's expression, Jung-im asked, "Seung-jun (played by Joo Yeon-woo)? Did you get exhausted from working out together?"
In another scene, when Yi-young felt unwell after eating spicy rice cakes and searched for medicine, Jung-im, despite her usual cool demeanor, showed concern, saying, "If it's not there, it's not there. Does your stomach hurt a lot?" She never missed a beat in understanding her daughter's condition just by looking at her face.
'Efficient Meeting of Singles' airs every Saturday at 10:40 PM and Sunday at 10:30 PM.
