Hong Seok-cheon Introduces Future Son-in-Law at 55th Birthday Bash

Hong Seok-cheon, the beloved TV personality, celebrated his 55th birthday by introducing his future son-in-law to guests at his party.

On the October 23rd episode of TV Chosun's 'Joseon's Love', Hong Seok-cheon announced his daughter Hong Joo-eun's upcoming marriage during his birthday celebration.

Hong revealed, "I'm planning to host a wedding invitation gathering for about 200 people." He aimed to share the joyous news of his daughter's marriage at his annual birthday party, which he organized on a larger scale this year. "I prepared this because my daughter is getting married," he explained.

As part of the announcement, Hong hosted a 'Find the Real Son-in-Law' game. He joked, "My daughter is a pro at changing boyfriends," before introducing her fiancé as "very handsome and smart." To add excitement, he decided to reveal the real son-in-law through a game, bringing five candidates, including the real one, on stage.

The real son-in-law, Lim Seung-woo, humorously remarked, "With all these handsome models here, I can't tell if this is a birthday party or a roast for me." Hong teased, "Our son-in-law has a beautiful smile," prompting Lim to quietly showcase his smile.

Lim introduced himself saying, "I may not be in your jewelry box, but I'm the only jewel in Joo-eun's." When asked about his profession, he quipped, "I handle some money in Yeouido," drawing laughter. Lim Seung-woo is a fourth-year finance professional working at H Asset Management.

After Lim was revealed as the real son-in-law, Hong expressed, "I wanted to celebrate my 55th birthday and introduce the new member of our family to those I love most." Lim pledged, "I'll show you a happy life and take care of your retirement," earning a heartfelt hug and kiss from Hong, which brought smiles all around.
