On the October 21st episode of KBS 2TV's 'Salimnam', special guest actress Choi Yoon-young appeared, reuniting with Park Seo-jin siblings and revealing the first day of new 'Salimnam' member Hwanhee. The episode recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 6.0% according to Nielsen Korea, with the 'eating sisters' Hyojung and Baek Ji-young's mukbang and Park Seo-jin's heartfelt preparations for Baek Ji-young reaching a peak rating of 7.1%.
The opening featured the newly joined singer Hwanhee, catching attention. MC Lee Yo-won expressed excitement, saying, "It's amazing to meet Hwanhee, who sang the OST 'Even If It Hurts...' from a drama I appeared in." Special guest Choi Yoon-young shared her goal of getting married within three years, though she admitted she hasn't found a partner yet, drawing attention. Park Seo-jin playfully tried to matchmake Hwanhee and Choi Yoon-young, to which Hwanhee humorously asked, "Is this a matchmaking show?"
The VCR revealed Park Seo-jin's nationwide tour concert in Ilsan, with his sister Hyojung by his side. Park Seo-jin teased a special guest, saying, "I have to do well. This person let me call them 'hyung' (older brother)." Former 'Salimnam' MC and singer Baek Ji-young visited the waiting room, leading to a joyful reunion. Park Seo-jin explained, "Ji-young noona (older sister) is so easygoing. She told me to keep calling her 'hyung' after I did it once." MC Eun Ji-won agreed, adding, "She's more easygoing than most men. She's probably more masculine than Brian," causing laughter.
After catching up, Park Seo-jin prepared for his performance, leaving Baek Ji-young and Hyojung, the 'Salimnam' mukbang duo, in the waiting room. Hyojung transformed into Baek Ji-young's assistant, bringing fish cake soup and homemade kimchi, showcasing her impressive 'eating scale'. Baek Ji-young enjoyed the kimchi, joking, "Eating like this doesn't make you gain weight. It's vegetables," eliciting laughter.
As Park Seo-jin's concert reached its peak, special guest Baek Ji-young took the stage. Despite having eaten a whole kimchi and a bowl of rice, she delivered a flawless live performance, impressing everyone. Baek Ji-young expressed her affection for Park Seo-jin, saying, "I've known Seo-jin for over two years. Every 'Salimnam' shoot, I wondered how Seo-jin would make me laugh and how I could comfort him."
Even after the concert ended late, Baek Ji-young stayed with Park Seo-jin siblings. Hyojung treated Baek Ji-young to a full-course meal as a token of appreciation for her care. Hyojung ordered additional dishes, claiming, "It's one dish per person," while Baek Ji-young, the original mukbang goddess, agreed, "Ordering more interrupts the flow." Enjoying the meal, Baek Ji-young remarked, "I wish I could lose my appetite once. I eat more when I'm sick," and Hyojung added, "I don't understand why people stop eating after a breakup," showcasing their perfect chemistry.
Amidst the lively mukbang, Park Seo-jin shifted the topic, asking Baek Ji-young about her stage mishaps. Married to Jung Seok-won in 2013, Baek Ji-young shared, "I haven't made many mistakes, but last year, I ate love bugs on stage. I think I ate about 20-30," shocking everyone. Park Seo-jin joked, "No wonder the love bugs disappeared," while Hwanhee, as a fellow singer, added, "In summer, we eat all kinds of bugs. They go in through the mouth and out through the nose," delivering a humorous MSG talk.

Excusing himself to the restroom, Park Seo-jin returned with a bouquet and a hand-painted folk painting, surprising Baek Ji-young. Baek Ji-young, touched by his sincerity, said, "I always hope Seo-jin's heart doesn't get hurt. There will always be people who leave negative comments, so he needs to manage his feelings well." Park Seo-jin, moved by her tears, also became emotional, and the laughter-filled mukbang concluded with deep emotion.
