Korean TV Host Jun Hyun-moo's Generous Gift and Candid Advice Revealed on 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears'

The heartwarming story of TV host Jun Hyun-moo was shared on the recent episode of KBS 2TV's variety show 'The Boss Has Donkey Ears'.

On the 349th episode aired on the 22nd, announcer Um Ji-in appeared and shared various stories.

Um Ji-in Reveals Senior Jun Hyun-moo's Promise

Um Ji-in opened up by saying, "Jun Hyun-moo kept his promise." She continued, "He gifted the KBS announcer's office with a state-of-the-art, high-end coffee machine." The coffee machine gifted by Jun Hyun-moo is reportedly worth around 2.7 million won. Kim Sook praised him, saying, "Hyun-moo is impressive."

Realistic Advice for Aspiring Announcers

Um Ji-in also offered advice to aspiring announcers at Seoul National University. Invited by Seoul National University broadcasting club alumnus Park Hyo-jin, she remarked, "Many aspiring announcers consider me their role model," with a smile.

She then gave candid advice, saying, "Your pronunciation is lacking. If you can't fix it, you should quit. If you can't fix it, you shouldn't prepare to be an announcer. You won't even pass the first round." Park Hyo-jin added, "She's being gentle today," indicating that Um Ji-in usually gives more direct feedback, adding tension to the atmosphere.

She also offered practical advice for her juniors. Um Ji-in said, "Practice in front of a mirror 100 times a day," and added, "When the newspaper arrived in the morning, I would read it from start to finish in a TV news tone. I did this every day for about 100 days without missing a single day. After 100 days, I gained confidence."
