Actor Kim Seung-hyun has transformed into 'Bonjour Kim'.

On the 22nd, the 'Gwangsan Kim Family' channel released a video titled, “Is it a celebrity's birthday? The truly ordinary birthday of Kim Seung-hyun.”

In the video, Kim Seung-hyun celebrates his 46th birthday by visiting Cheongnyangni Market with his mother. He shares a simple birthday party with his family and opens up about his past.

During the meal, Kim Seung-hyun reflects on his past and expresses regret towards his mother. He said, “I used to be an ungrateful son who would roll on the streets if I didn’t get what I wanted. My mother went through a lot after giving birth to me.”

After returning home, Kim Seung-hyun continued the birthday celebration with his wife and daughter. He sang a song and read a heartfelt letter to his mother, moving everyone. His mother, Baek Ok-ja, responded, “I’m grateful that you are maintaining your family well. Show us more success in the future,” comforting her son warmly.

Kim Seung-hyun also shared his desperate 'side hustle' update, catching attention. Transforming into caricature artist 'Bonjour Kim', he said, “These days, just drawing caricatures doesn’t make money, so I also read faces while drawing caricatures,” using an app to read faces, bringing laughter.

Kim Seung-hyun drew a caricature of his mother, Baek Ok-ja, on the spot at a barbecue restaurant. He joked, “She has double eyelids like Seung-hyun,” and added his autograph, making everyone laugh.

His mother nodded approvingly when asked if she liked it and proudly showed off her caricature drawn by her son to the camera. Kim Seung-hyun added, “If you need me for group events, feel free to contact me,” emphasizing that “just drawing caricatures doesn’t make money.”

Kim Seung-hyun has previously spoken about his six-year acting hiatus. His mother expressed frustration, wondering why he wasn’t getting drama offers despite his talent, and his wife, Jang Jung-yoon, also expressed a strong desire for him to appear in dramas.

In the past, Kim Seung-hyun dismissed concerns about his livelihood, saying, “Don’t worry about celebrities,” but recently shared his realistic daily life, noting, “The economy is tough and prices are high,” which became a topic of discussion.

Meanwhile, Kim Seung-hyun married writer Jang Jung-yoon in 2020 and welcomed their second daughter, Ri-yoon, in 2024.
