Comedian Park Myung-soo Bridges Generations at RISE Concert
On his YouTube channel 'Hal Myung-soo', a video titled 'I was in Africa 48 hours ago, and now I'm at a RISE concert? Is this a dream?' was uploaded.
In the video, Park Myung-soo is seen experiencing a day as a 'Breeze', the fandom of RISE, at their Seoul concert. Despite being tired from a recent shoot in Africa, Park showed his affection for RISE by fully engaging in the fans' daily activities.
Before the concert, Park followed the quintessential 'fan day course', which included taking photos at the photo zone near the venue, purchasing official merchandise, and participating in the random photo card draw. He humorously earned the nickname 'Sohui Hunter' after repeatedly drawing Sohui's photo card, bringing laughter to the scene.
Particularly, Park's enthusiastic interaction with fans to trade cards for his favorite member, Eunseok, demonstrated his deep immersion akin to that of actual fans.
Park also learned the 'etiquette shot' culture of arranging food and photo cards for photos before the concert and struggled through learning the fan chants for RISE's hit songs like 'Get A Guitar' and 'Boom Boom Bass'. Despite a humorous mistake of calling Anton by the wrong name, his sincerity towards RISE remained evident.
Notably, he humorously commented on the genetic superiority of Anton, the youngest member and son of legendary musician Yoon Sang, by joking about his own father's looks, eliciting laughter.
During the concert, Park showed his affectionate side as a father by sending photos to his daughter Minseo and danced along with the audience, fully enjoying the moment.
As the concert neared its end, Park echoed the fans' sentiments by chanting 'Don't go!' and later met RISE members backstage. When Sungchan expressed surprise at Park staying until the end, Park emphasized his continuous dancing throughout the concert, forming a strong bond with the group. He concluded the event by encouraging RISE for their remaining performances, marking a warm encounter between senior and junior artists.
