Park Myung-soo, who married a dermatologist eight years his junior in 2008, is set to unveil AI characters he co-planned and produced with Jung Jun-ha.

The phrase "Hey! Aren't you doing your job right?" isn't just a scolding from Park Myung-soo on screen. It's actually AI Park Myung-soo responding to my answers. MBC's in-house independent company, Modive, announced that on March 21st, they launched AI characters 'AI Manager Park (Park Myung-soo)' and 'AI Assistant Manager Jung (Jung Jun-ha)' on their AI character chat platform 'Moit'.

The creation process of Park Myung-soo and Jung Jun-ha's AI chatbots is also being showcased as content on MBC's YouTube channel 'Hawasu', drawing significant attention. In the video, Park Myung-soo humorously remarks, "This could even do radio," and jokes, "Are you trying to use me cheaply? As long as the money comes in, I'm fine." Jung Jun-ha adds, "Why is my AI whining so much?" and suggests adding more nasal sounds.

What's Different About This AI?

The core of this service is 'reality'. While existing AI characters were limited to reading text, Moit's AI characters convey over ten different emotions such as sadness, anger, and joy, based on the conversation with the user.

Park Myung-soo and Jung Jun-ha participated from the planning stage, reflecting their character interpretations, and used their directed and recorded voice data for learning. Particularly, for Park Myung-soo and Jung Jun-ha's voices, Neosapience's AI voice synthesis service 'Typecast' technology was applied, allowing the character's emotional tone to change in real-time according to the conversation context.

Users can become the youngest employee of Infinite Company, experiencing the hidden warmth in Manager Park's scolding or receiving quirky counseling from Assistant Manager Jung, engaging in 1:1 communication within the original universe. The entire production process was simultaneously released on the 'Hawasu' YouTube channel.

Users are no longer just viewers. The moment they access 'Moit', they become the 'hellish' youngest employee of Infinite Company, caught between Manager Park and Assistant Manager Jung. The service, which opened on the evening of March 21st, includes a 'voice message' feature, allowing users to experience 'spicy' communication beyond text with actual voices. Modive's CEO, Lim Da-sol, stated, "Now, the kids who grew up watching Infinite Challenge can experience working at Infinite Company and going on company outings with Manager Park and Assistant Manager Jung through AI chat."

Targeting 'Infinite Challenge Kids', Will It Succeed?

Moit recently proved the potential success of 'narrative AI characters' through the official IP chatbot of the movie 'The King and the Clown'. The 'Lee Hong-wi (Danjong)' character, introduced with a formal license agreement with Showbox, received an explosive response with over 200,000 conversations. This was a result of audiences who were disappointed with the movie's tragic ending continuing the story and interacting with the character on Moit. The 'Infinite Company' AI is also expected to immerse users deeply by incorporating legendary episodes from the variety show into the conversation history.

Modive's CEO, Lim Da-sol, stated, "Characters in content have always been subjects to watch from beyond the screen, but Moit transforms them into subjects of real-time relationships," adding, "This AI character, voiced by Park Myung-soo and Jung Jun-ha themselves, will offer fans a unique experience of becoming friends or colleagues with their favorite celebrities." He continued, "Just as 'The King and the Clown' did, we hope the Infinite Company AI will become content that allows fans to continue enjoying the original's fun in their daily lives."

The 'AI Manager Park' and 'AI Assistant Manager Jung' voice chat service was launched on the Moit website on the evening of March 21st, with features like voice messaging to be updated sequentially throughout March.
