Comedian Yang Sang-guk Returns to Hometown with 'Hangout with Yoo' Cast

Comedian Yang Sang-guk makes a triumphant return to his hometown of Jinyeong with the cast of 'Hangout with Yoo'.

The upcoming episode of MBC's variety show 'Hangout with Yoo', airing on the 21st, features Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Heo Kyung-hwan, Joo Woo-jae, and Yang Sang-guk in the segment 'The Era of Country Bumpkins - War of Money 2 in Gimhae'.

In the released photos, the five men are seen visiting Yang Sang-guk's hometown, Jinyeong-eup, Gimhae-si, Gyeongsangnam-do. A banner put up by Yang's friends reads, 'Pride of Jinyeong, Yang Sang-guk, Welcome Home', capturing attention.

Yang Sang-guk waves to the hometown residents, greeting them every three steps with, “Guk is here~”. The members laugh as they see the residents warmly welcoming Yang like a son, commenting, “Sang-guk is flying high here.”

Moreover, Yang Sang-guk boasts a level of recognition in Jinyeong that surpasses even Yoo Jae-suk. Joo Woo-jae, upon seeing a resident looking for Yang through a car window, remarks, “In this town, people say 'Sang-guk' before 'Yoo Jae-suk'.”

For today, Yang Sang-guk is crowned the 'Crown Prince of Jinyeong', confidently striding through the town. Yoo Jae-suk, spotting the banner on the road, humorously asks, “Did Sang-guk win a gold medal?”

The lively visit of the five country bumpkins to Jinyeong can be seen on MBC's 'Hangout with Yoo' airing at 6:25 PM on the 21st.
