Netflix's 'Bloodhounds' Season 2: A Thrilling Return with High-Stakes Action
Following the thrilling takedown of a notorious illegal loan shark gang, protagonists Geon-woo (Woo Do-hwan) and Woo-jin (Lee Sang-yi) are back to deliver another knockout punch against a global illegal boxing league dominated by money and violence. The newly released main poster and trailer promise electrifying action and upgraded intensity.
The main poster reveals a fierce confrontation between Geon-woo, Woo-jin, and Baek-jeong (Jung Ji-hoon), raising the pulse of viewers. The rapid punches, showcasing enhanced impact and speed, highlight the series' signature bare-knuckle action. The tagline, 'A billion-dollar illegal gambling ring, fight to the end,' hints at an unavoidable bloody battle on a grander scale, heightening the tension.
The main trailer teases a new threat looming over Geon-woo and Woo-jin. Baek-jeong, the operator of the global illegal boxing league known as 'IKFC,' sees his betting stakes skyrocket with each brutal punch, yet his greed knows no bounds.
However, Baek-jeong's threat to Geon-woo's life is more intense than ever. With the leash of In-beom (Tae Won-seok), who threatened them three years ago, now in Baek-jeong's hands, the outcome of the rounds becomes increasingly unpredictable. Despite the relentless danger, Geon-woo and Woo-jin steel themselves with the resolve that "to catch a beast, you must become more terrifying than the beast."
Director Kim Joo-hwan stated, "'Bloodhounds' always tackles themes of friendship, humanity, and the battle against money," adding, "I thought the global illegal boxing league was the most compelling setting to encapsulate these themes."
Netflix's 'Bloodhounds' Season 2 will be available worldwide on Netflix starting April 3.
