Kwak Young-kwang delivered a captivating performance on the October 18th episode of MBN's 'Legend of the Unknown - Trot Men's Rank War'. Performing Kang Jin's 'Younger Man', Kwak scored a total of 369 points, leading his team to victory. As a member of the 'Blood Sugar Spike' team, Kwak charmed both the top professional panel and the national panel with his sweet yet sexy stage presence.

On this episode, Kwak, alongside teammates Lee Do-jin, Jung Yoon-young, and Hwang Min-woo, took the stage under the leadership of 'Blood Sugar Spike' team leader Haru, who ranked third in the preliminary rounds. The team kicked off their performance with an idol-like concept and choreography, instantly lifting the mood with their bright energy.

In the early part of the performance, Kwak embodied the 'sweet younger man' image with his signature 'beluga' smile, singing lyrics like, 'I call you noona, but my heart is fluttering'.

The atmosphere shifted dramatically in the middle of the performance. Reappearing from behind the stage while hanging from a metal cage, Kwak captivated the audience's attention. His movements across the cage, combined with expressive facial gestures and restrained motions, left a strong impression contrasting with his earlier cute image.

Extending the stage to the protruding section, Kwak engaged with the audience, and in the latter part, he successfully adjusted the mood with heart gestures and smiles. Kwak convincingly conveyed a message of love, enhancing the audience's immersion in the performance.

Judge Joo Hyun-mi commented, 'The stage had an idol visual, with clear voices and well-structured choreography', while Kang Moon-kyung noted, 'I can see the determination to give it all on this stage'. The performance was praised for its balance of vocals and choreography, as well as the team's synergy.

The results were overwhelming. The 'Blood Sugar Spike' team scored 260 points from the top professional panel and 109 points from the national panel, totaling 369 points, significantly outpacing the opposing team, which scored only 131 points. With an additional 10% bonus for winning the first round, their final score reached 406 points.

Kwak Young-kwang also showed his warm side by comforting his youngest teammate, Jung Yoon-young, wiping away his tears. He encouraged his team, saying, 'You all worked really hard for three weeks', maintaining the positive atmosphere until the end. Kwak's presence both on and off the stage has heightened anticipation for the next competition.
