Ji Suk-jin and Mimi to Host Netflix's New Knowledge Adventure Show 'Manhakdo Ji'

Ji Suk-jin, a well-known broadcaster who married stylist Ryu Soo-jung in 1999, has been selected as the host for Netflix's upcoming daily variety show 'Manhakdo Ji'.

Premiering on the 30th, 'Manhakdo Ji' is a reality-based knowledge exploration show that breaks down the barriers of knowledge with raw questions. Ji Suk-jin and Mimi, a member of the girl group Oh My Girl, will co-host the show, exploring a wide range of knowledge with guests each episode, satisfying viewers' intellectual curiosity.

Ji Suk-jin, known for his witty humor and entertainment skills, has been awarded the 'Pinggye-go' prize. In 'Manhakdo Ji', he takes on the role of a lifelong learner eager to absorb everything from the latest trends to IT information, transforming knowledge from 'authority' to 'play' as an icon of intellectual rejuvenation.

Mimi, an Oh My Girl member and a YouTuber with 500,000 subscribers, stands at the forefront of trends as an MZ icon. Known for her quirky speech that brings laughter, she possesses a 'hidden charm' with a high thirst for knowledge. As a co-host on 'Manhakdo Ji', she will act as a question villain and empathy fairy, scratching viewers' intellectual itches.

The teaser video captures attention from the start with the appearance of Ji Suk-jin, who turns 60 this year. While he initially presents 'culture', he soon bombards guests with unexpected questions, causing laughter. The caption "We ask the questions you're too shy to ask" hints at the unpredictable nature of Ji Suk-jin's inquiries, promising the birth of the 'most approachable knowledge show' ever seen.
