The new Monday-Tuesday drama 'Climax,' which has declared its ambition to surpass the highest-rated ENA show 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo,' has made its debut with a 2.9% viewership rating.

According to Nielsen Korea on the 17th, the first episode of 'Climax,' aired the previous day, recorded a 2.9% viewership rating among nationwide paid households.

The premiere episode unveiled the desires and relationships of characters surrounding the center of power in South Korea, marking the beginning of a grand power game.

Prosecutor Bang Tae-seop, played by Ju Ji-hoon, born as the son of a factory worker, decides to become a prosecutor to avenge his father's death, who was embroiled in an unjust incident. However, he soon realizes that the prosecution organization is also a closed kingdom dominated by lineage and power. To climb higher, he marries star actress Choo Sang-ah, played by Ha Ji-won, drawing public attention.
