YouTuber KwakTube Discusses Separate Living Arrangements and Financial Management with Wife

KwakTube, a popular travel YouTuber, recently revealed that he and his wife are living separately and managing their finances independently.

On the October 16th episode of SBS's variety show 'Ahnigunde Jinja!' (translated as 'No, But Really!'), KwakTube, whose real name is Kwak Jun-bin, appeared as a guest.

KwakTube, who tied the knot last October, admitted, "It was a rushed decision, but getting married quickly was always my dream." Before the wedding, he announced that his wife was pregnant, saying, "We visited the obstetrician together. The due date is approaching soon. I was overseas when I got the call about the pregnancy, and it was a real shock. We planned to marry in May, but we took the first available date at the venue."

The couple is expecting a son, and KwakTube expressed his hopes, "I hope the baby takes after my wife. I was so anxious the night before the gender reveal party, worried it might be a girl. I was overwhelmed with emotion when I found out it was a boy." He even shared a 3D ultrasound image of their baby, joking, "Even as a baby, he already resembles me."

When asked about their financial management, KwakTube stated, "I cover all living expenses with my own money. While I've disclosed my assets, we haven't combined them. My wife doesn't even know my bank account password." When Lee Sang-min asked if he was considering divorce, KwakTube replied, "I've saved my money well, so I figured I could manage my finances independently. I disclose everything from my salary to my bank account, advertising rates, and appearance fees."

Regarding his wife's spending habits, he noted, "She hardly spends any money. She's extremely frugal." When Tak Jae-hoon joked, "How tightly have you been controlling the finances?" KwakTube promised, "I'll share my bank account password with her today."
