Ji Ye-eun Reveals the Truth About Lee Soo-ji on 'A-ni Geun-de Jjin-jja!'

Ji Ye-eun exposes the real story behind Lee Soo-ji on SBS's 'A-ni Geun-de Jjin-jja!'

On the October 16th episode of SBS's 'A-ni Geun-de Jjin-jja!' (hereafter referred to as 'A-geun-jin'), broadcasters Ji Ye-eun and Jung Sang-hoon made an appearance.

During the show, Ji Ye-eun addressed an article claiming she cried out of jealousy when Lee Soo-ji won an award at the Baeksang Arts Awards. She refuted the claim, saying, "I knew I didn't stand a chance and wouldn't win. I feel like crying even now. Maybe I'm going through menopause," she joked, eliciting laughter.

When Tak Jae-hoon teased her, asking why she attended if she knew she wouldn't win, suggesting she had ambitions, Ji Ye-eun replied, "I just wanted to go and see the event for myself."

She continued, "Soo-ji had a tough time while doing 'SNL.' She even faced a rental scam. During breaks in filming, she would leave, and I thought she was going out for a meal. When I asked why she was eating alone, she said she went to the district office because of the scam. At first, I thought she was joking."

Ji Ye-eun expressed her admiration, saying, "It must have been so hard not being able to eat during meal times and having to go to the district office. Soo-ji is amazing. She's a genius. I was genuinely happy for her winning the award."

Lee Soo-ji shared, "At that time, Ji Ye-eun offered to lend me money, saying, 'If you need it, just let me know.' She was willing to help when I lost my home and needed to find a new place."

However, there was a twist. Lee Soo-ji revealed, "When I asked how much she could lend, she said '1.2 million won.'" Ji Ye-eun explained, "I had about 3 million won in my account at the time. It was all I had. I was just starting out and living in a rented place myself, so I couldn't give it all away. But I thought 1.2 million won was something I could give without regret."

When Lee Soo-ji asked how much she could lend now, Ji Ye-eun humorously responded, "You won't get scammed now. You have a lot of money. Every time I walk down the street, I see your ads everywhere. I thought, 'Soo-ji is raking it in,'" causing laughter.

Meanwhile, Lee Soo-ji has previously revealed that she was a victim of a rental scam worth around 400 million won.
