KBS 2TV's 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain' to Feature Actor Kim Seung-woo and Former Baseball Stars Lee Dae-hyung, Lee Dong-geun

Actor Kim Seung-woo, along with former baseball players Lee Dae-hyung and Lee Dong-geun, is set to appear on KBS 2TV's new sports reality show 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain'.

Kim Seung-woo, who is married to actress Kim Nam-joo and serves as the president of the Korea Little Baseball Federation (KLBF), will join Lee Dae-hyung, a commentator who inspired audiences during the '2026 World Baseball Classic (WBC)', and Lee Dong-geun, a caster, on the show. The program, which is scheduled to premiere on April 12, is directed by Kim Sang-mi and produced by Lee Jung-wook.

'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain' features KBO legends Park Yong-taek, Lee Dae-ho, Kim Tae-kyun, and Na Ji-wan, who will each form teams of U-10 youth players from their respective hometowns to compete in real league matches. The addition of a professional-level commentary team, including actor Kim Seung-woo and 'Super Sonic' Lee Dae-hyung as commentators, and Lee Dong-geun as the caster, is generating excitement. They will bring the unique Little KBO League experience to life.

Kim Seung-woo, a veteran actor with 36 years of experience, has a background in physical education and sports management. He has been actively involved in celebrity baseball teams and has been working to promote and expand the reach of little league baseball since becoming the 7th president of the KLBF last year. His role in the program is expected to highlight the importance and prestige of little league baseball.

Lee Dae-hyung, a legendary player who won the stolen base title for four consecutive years in KBO history, recently gained attention for his commentary during the '2026 WBC' alongside Park Yong-taek. Known for his sharp analysis and engaging commentary, he is expected to captivate viewers, particularly those aged 20-49.

Lee Dong-geun is a seasoned caster with years of experience covering professional baseball and international events like the '2026 WBC'. His stable voice and powerful delivery enhance the excitement of the games. His signature enthusiastic shouting is expected to amplify the dynamic fun of baseball, drawing attention to his chemistry with the commentators and rookie coaches.

With a solid commentary team in place, 'Our Neighborhood Baseball Captain' promises thrilling moments reminiscent of professional baseball, offering a rollercoaster of emotions to viewers of all ages. Anticipation is building for the little league baseball stories that Park Yong-taek, Lee Dae-ho, Kim Tae-kyun, Na Ji-wan, and the U-10 teams will create together.
