Huh Kyung-hwan Faces AI's Hilarious Criticism on His First Day as a Regular on 'Hangout with Yoo'

Huh Kyung-hwan, who recently joined as a regular member, faced a humorous barrage from AI on his first day on the show.

The October 14th episode of MBC's variety show 'Hangout with Yoo?' featured a segment titled 'A Day with AI' aimed at spicing up Kim Kwang-kyu's mundane routine. Yoo Jae-suk, Haha, Huh Kyung-hwan, and Joo Woo-jae spent the day following AI's instructions, showcasing their chemistry.

The episode achieved a nationwide viewership rating of 4.9% and a metropolitan household rating of 4.9%, securing the top spot in its time slot and among Saturday variety shows. The key demographic of viewers aged 20-54 also recorded a 3.0% rating, maintaining its lead. The most-watched moment was when Yoo Jae-suk, Huh Kyung-hwan, and Joo Woo-jae washed their feet during the 'Kwang-kyu's Walk' segment, with ratings peaking at 6.1%.

As a new regular member, Huh Kyung-hwan expressed his gratitude to viewers with a deep bow and received congratulations from the cast. However, he quickly became the target of AI's playful jabs, providing plenty of laughs. The AI humorously questioned Huh's addition to the show, saying, “Why is he joining?” and “Tell him to wipe the sweat off his philtrum,” leaving Huh flustered and challenging the AI to a duel, much to everyone's amusement.

The AI also humorously critiqued Kim Kwang-kyu's daily schedule, describing it as “a dream of longevity” and likening it to a “nursing home diet.” For Kim, who often goes window shopping alone, the AI suggested a group shopping trip for matching outfits, appointing Yoo Jae-suk as the stylist, noting, “No one will complain if Jae-suk coordinates.”

Despite the members' protests, Yoo Jae-suk confidently showcased his fashion sense, pairing a cardigan, shirt, and gray sweatpants to complete the 'Jae-suk Style' group outfit. Haha commented, “It's a Yoo Jae-suk cosplay,” while Huh Kyung-hwan quipped, “It's like quintuplets,” and Yoo Jae-suk was pleased, saying, “It looks like my clones are coming out.”

The members then visited a Korean restaurant recommended by the AI, continuing their conversation with it. The AI once again teased Huh Kyung-hwan, questioning his regular status, prompting Yoo Jae-suk to suggest reconciliation. However, the AI persisted, humorously questioning Huh's presence on the show, keeping everyone laughing. The AI also commented on Haha's story about meeting singer Lee Moon-se at a sauna, saying, “Even the hip-hop warrior Haha shrinks at the bathhouse,” which amused Haha.

The next AI-recommended activity was a park walk. Kim Kwang-kyu, who enjoys walking barefoot, was excited, but the AI selected Yoo Jae-suk, Huh Kyung-hwan, and Joo Woo-jae to walk barefoot, leaving Kim unable to join.

Finally, the AI decided the order of the members' departures. It was asked to erase the person who wanted to leave the least from a photo, and Joo Woo-jae was chosen first. Yoo Jae-suk, Huh Kyung-hwan, and Haha followed, leaving Kim Kwang-kyu alone for a bittersweet ending to their AI-guided day.
