Tzuyang Pauses Filming for Choi Hong-man: A Heartwarming Tale of Friendship
Tzuyang recently shared a touching story about pausing a shoot for Choi Hong-man.

On the October 14th episode of MBC's variety show 'The Manager' (Episode 389), the daily life of Tzuyang, a top-tier mukbang star with an annual delivery fee of 44 million KRW, was revealed. After winning the Popularity Award at the 2025 MBC Entertainment Awards, Tzuyang has been busy. Upon returning from an overseas trip, she started her day by showcasing a giant popcorn drinking session and filling her pantry with a massive haul of snacks from Hong Kong.

Despite concerns from her manager about gaining weight as she turns 30, Tzuyang effortlessly consumed various Hong Kong cup noodles, snacks, and a 1.7L coffee. She revealed that despite her massive intake, her weight hit a record low of 43kg. The day before, she had added broth 15 times to enjoy shabu-shabu for six hours.

Her insatiable appetite continued on a commercial set. Her 'in-flight ramen' recipe, previously aired, garnered 920,000 views, leading to a product launch and her selection as an advertising model. Tzuyang devoured the ramen prepared for the shoot and continued eating until the crew finished packing up, proving her status as a top-tier mukbang queen.

In a studio meeting from a previous broadcast, Tzuyang reunited with Choi Hong-man, who had challenged her to a mukbang duel. They captivated the audience with a 'one-person, one-pot fish cake soup' showdown. Choi, maintaining his bravado, entertained everyone with his antics, showcasing their unique friendship.

Tzuyang shared a past incident where she noticed Choi's discomfort during a shoot and suggested pausing, describing him as someone she wanted to protect. She even got his phone number and proposed friendship, capturing their bond with a four-cut photo session. For Choi, it was his first such photo, and he donned a pink headband and kneeled, exuding a 'high school girl vibe' with Tzuyang and manager Oh Soo-bin, creating a heartwarming scene.
