Park Hae-rin Shines in Netflix's 'Monthly Boyfriend' as Charismatic Kendo Club President
Park Hae-rin, who gained attention from her appearance in last year's 'Single's Inferno' Season 4, is captivating viewers once again in the Netflix series 'Monthly Boyfriend' as Kang Ye-rin, the president of the Kendo club. Previously, there was controversy surrounding some dating shows, with accusations that participants were more interested in gaining fame than finding love.

'Monthly Boyfriend' is a romantic comedy that follows the story of webtoon PD Seo Mi-rae (played by Ji-soo), who, exhausted by reality, subscribes to and experiences virtual dating simulations.

In the series, Park Hae-rin's character, Kang Ye-rin, is the president of the university Kendo club, where Seo Eun-ho (played by Seo Kang-joon) is a member. She is portrayed as a charismatic figure with exceptional Kendo skills, drawing attention on campus with her elegant and beautiful appearance.

Known as a former JYP trainee, Park Hae-rin enhances her character's charm in the released stills, donning a Kendo uniform that exudes a composed and serene aura. Her sharp gaze and graceful beauty naturally convey Kang Ye-rin's charisma.

Kang Ye-rin forms a relationship with Seo Eun-ho within the Kendo club, and the subtle tension between them adds to the drama's suspense. She also introduces a delicate tension for Seo Mi-rae, making the emotional dynamics among the three characters another key point of interest.

Park Hae-rin is praised for her stable performance, portraying Kang Ye-rin with confident charisma and nuanced emotional depth, bringing the character to life in a multi-dimensional way.

Recently, Park Hae-rin was cast as the female lead in the Korea-Japan joint film 'House of Ghosts,' which has completed filming and is set to release simultaneously in Korea and Japan later this year.
