Lee Yoon-chul and Jo Byung-hee are approaching their 50th wedding anniversary.

On the morning of the 13th, former MBC announcer Lee Yoon-chul and his wife Jo Byung-hee appeared on KBS1's 'Morning Yard'.

Having tied the knot in 1979, the couple is set to celebrate their golden anniversary in 2029. Lee Yoon-chul reminisced about their 25th anniversary, sharing, "We traveled to the U.S. and Canada. We couldn't do much on regular days, but for our 25th, we splurged on first-class travel. It was a big treat."

Jo Byung-hee humorously pointed out, "It was upgraded with mileage," to which Lee Yoon-chul responded, "I earned those miles from my broadcasting work. So, technically, it was my treat."

When asked about a European trip for their 50th anniversary, Jo Byung-hee remarked, "As my husband gets older, he seems reluctant to fly," and firmly stated, "We won't be doing a vow renewal ceremony."

Regarding the prize money from the 'Couple Party', Lee Yoon-chul mentioned, "Our granddaughter just entered college, and our grandson started elementary school. If we win, we'll use the gift certificates to give them some pocket money."

Lee Yoon-chul also shared about their differences, saying, "Usually, when the husband goes first, the wife follows, saying 'Let's go together.' In our case, my wife goes first, and I say, 'Let's go together.' She doesn't want to go together. Even our food preferences differ. I love ramen and jjajangmyeon, but she won't even look at them. It's peculiar."
