Kim Jun-han (42), who previously played Suzy's husband in Coupang Play's 'Anna' released in 2022, is now teaming up with Krystal Jung in a new project.
On the afternoon of the 9th, a press conference for tvN's new weekend drama 'How to Become a Landlord in Korea' was held at The Link Hotel in Guro-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by actors Ha Jung-woo, Im Soo-jung, Kim Jun-han, Krystal Jung, Shim Eun-kyung, and director Im Pil-sung.

In the drama, Kim Jun-han plays Min Hwal-seong, a close friend of Ki Soo-jong (played by Ha Jung-woo). Min Hwal-seong is a character who, with his good looks and eloquence, successfully marries Jeon Yi-kyung (played by Krystal Jung), the daughter of a wealthy family, but ends up as a live-in son-in-law.
Regarding his role, Kim stated, "Hwal-seong is a character with a wide range of actions and is unafraid to do unexpected things. I prepared to think and move freely. While acting, I sometimes found myself going in unexpected directions."

On working with Krystal, he humorously noted, "Once again, I'm getting a lot of flak from those around me," and added, "Personally, I consider it a stroke of luck. She was amazing in 'Cobweb,' and I was excited to create chemistry as a couple from the start. It was enjoyable to work together and create a good piece."

Director Im Pil-sung commented on the star-studded cast, "As you can see, it's not easy to gather all these actors in one project. The script played a big role in casting the best actors," and added, "It feels like a rare stroke of luck that comes once in a decade."
He continued, "There are actors participating in supporting or special roles as well. I think we were lucky in many ways. The actors seemed to trust me without prejudice," and noted, "Filming a drama is much faster-paced and has more content than a movie, which wasn't easy, but the actors were outstanding."

Regarding the actors' chemistry, Director Im said, "Ha Jung-woo and Im Soo-jung play parents of a high school daughter, and despite this being their first time in such roles, they showed new chemistry as a couple from the first shoot," and added, "Krystal and Kim Jun-han also portrayed a unique relationship different from typical couples, delivering remarkable performances." He further mentioned, "Shim Eun-kyung is an actress I started my debut with. We first met when she was in the first year of middle school, and it's refreshing and proud to meet again like this."
'How to Become a Landlord in Korea' premieres on the 14th at 9:10 PM.
