Jeon Hyun-moo Returns as Host for 'Hidden Singer 8' on JTBC

Jeon Hyun-moo is set to return as the host of JTBC's 'Hidden Singer 8'.

'Hidden Singer 8' (created by Hong Sang-hoon, directed by Shin Young-kwang) is a unique music program where top Korean singers compete against talented impersonators who can perfectly mimic their voices and singing styles.

Since its debut in 2012, 'Hidden Singer' has captivated audiences with each new season, showcasing explosive performances by original artists and impressive impersonators. The show has featured top artists like Lee Moon-se, Im Jae-bum, Lee Seung-hwan, Shin Seung-hun, Lee So-ra, Yang Hee-eun, Psy, Uhm Jung-hwa, and IU. Notably, singer Young Tak, who appeared as an impersonator in Season 2, returned as an original artist in Season 7, surprising viewers.

Returning after four years since Season 7, the new season promises even higher quality. The released poster features the show's long-time host, Jeon Hyun-moo, in an archer's pose with a microphone instead of an arrowhead, hinting at the thrilling guessing game between impersonators and original singers.

The phrase "Are you ready to be captivated by eternal emotion and immortal fun?" heightens anticipation among fans eagerly awaiting Season 8. The number 8 behind Jeon symbolizes both the eighth season and infinity, suggesting endless entertainment and excitement.

'Hidden Singer 8' will feature legendary original artists like Sim Soo-bong, Kim Jang-hoon, Kim Hyun-jung, Jung In, Lee Seung-gi, Younha, Davichi's Lee Hae-ri, Ha Hyun-woo, and 10CM, alongside skilled impersonators, promising electrifying performances.

JTBC's 'Hidden Singer 8' premieres on the 31st at 8:50 PM.
