Actor Lee Dong-hwi Remembers Late Friend Na Chul with Tears on 'You Quiz on the Block'

Actor Lee Dong-hwi shed tears as he remembered the late Na Chul.

On the October 11th episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block', Lee Dong-hwi made a guest appearance.

During the show, when asked about his current interests, Lee Dong-hwi shared, "I am 42 years old in Korean age. Until now, I've lived doing everything I wanted. From now on, I want to live for my family." He continued, "There was a time when my mother had health issues. I thought appearing more on TV would make my parents happy, so I decided to be on TV more often."

Lee Dong-hwi expressed, "Unfortunately, some friends have gone to heaven before me. After sending them off, I realized I didn't want to live like this," and he shed tears. He confessed, "After saying goodbye to that friend, I made a resolution. On the day I returned home after the funeral, I thought about trying to prevent such situations from happening to those around me."

The friend he mentioned is actor Na Chul, who passed away in January 2023 due to health complications. The late Na Chul appeared in films such as 'Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds', '1987', 'Extreme Job', and dramas like 'Hospital Playlist Season 2', 'Vincenzo', and 'Jirisan'.
