KBS2's 'The Return of Superman' Captivates Viewers with Adorable Baby Avengers Trio

The latest episode of KBS2's 'The Return of Superman' featured a heartwarming meeting of the 'Baby Avengers' trio, capturing the hearts of viewers. Kim Jun-ho's sons, Eun-woo and Jung-woo, along with Shim Hyung-tak's son, Haru, delighted fans with their adorable interactions.

Aired on October 11th, the 612th episode titled 'Follow Your Brother' saw MCs Kim Jong-min and Lalal join the fun. The episode showcased the much-anticipated meeting of the 'Shim Family' and the 'Ho Family,' as Shim Hyung-tak and Haru visited Kim Jun-ho, Eun-woo, and Jung-woo's home. This delightful gathering led to a nationwide viewership rating of 3.4%, according to Nielsen Korea.

Eun-woo, Jung-woo, and Haru appeared like inseparable brothers, showcasing their growth and touching viewers' hearts. Jung-woo, always the 'baby' to Eun-woo, displayed his nurturing side by feeding Haru baby food and sharing his knowledge about strawberries. Eun-woo, reminiscing about Jung-woo's baby days, embraced him warmly, saying, "Our baby." The love passed down from Eun-woo to Jung-woo, and from Jung-woo to Haru, added to the heartwarming atmosphere.

Haru, the youngest, eagerly followed his older brothers' lead. Inspired by Jung-woo's use of a fork and chopsticks, Haru attempted to eat on his own, impressing his father, Shim Hyung-tak. "It's the first time I've seen Haru eat with a spoon by himself," he remarked, expressing his gratitude for the influence of siblings.

With the help of his brothers, Haru took his first steps. After watching Jung-woo demonstrate with a walker, Haru confidently let go and took a step, leaving Shim Hyung-tak speechless with emotion.

Kim Jun-ho, noticing Haru's athletic potential, set up a 'Ho Training Camp.' Jung-woo demonstrated hanging from a bar, encouraging Haru to try. Haru, determined, followed suit, bringing smiles all around. Jung-woo further showcased his climbing skills, urging Haru to "hurry up" and try. At just 13 months old, Haru attempted climbing, following Jung-woo's footsteps, and reached the top, earning admiration.

Shim Hyung-tak also learned from parenting veteran Kim Jun-ho. Inspired by Kim's insights on sibling influence, Shim revealed plans for more children, joking about his wife's initial desire for four kids. The episode highlighted Haru's growth through imitation, leaving Shim curious about Haru's future as an older brother.

Since its debut in 2013, 'The Return of Superman' has been a beloved show. In 2023, Eun-woo and Jung-woo ranked in the top 10 for TV-OTT non-drama buzz, proving their popularity. In August, Haru and Shim Hyung-tak also entered the top 10, showcasing the show's continued appeal. The show received the 'Presidential Commendation' at the 14th 'Population Day' ceremony, affirming its status as a 'national parenting show.'
