Actor Lee Dong-hwi Reveals Untold Stories on 'You Quiz on the Block'

Actor Lee Dong-hwi is set to appear on 'You Quiz on the Block' to share his side of the story.

The 334th episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' (directed by Heo Gang-seok and Kim Ji-young, written by Lee Eon-joo) will feature Ho-san, the monk who trained South Korea's snowboarding medalists, singer WOODZ who made a comeback with a song he sang in the military, AI researcher and neuroscientist Professor Kim Dae-shik, and scene-stealing actor Lee Dong-hwi.

Lee Dong-hwi, known for his dynamic roles, will reveal the behind-the-scenes of the much-talked-about 'Pumba Look' and share his first-ever explanation. Despite being a fellow alumnus of Seoul Institute of the Arts with Yoo Jae-suk, Lee graduated alone, adding more intrigue to his colorful anecdotes.

He candidly shares stories from his college days when he was 'infected with the art disease,' to graduating after seven years and the agreement he made with his father. He also opens up about his struggles as a bit-part actor before his debut, distributing his profile to numerous places. Notably, he confesses, "Out of 200 profiles sent, I got less than 8 auditions," and recalls crying while listening to Yoo Jae-suk's 'As You Say.'

Lee's journey through countless auditions, becoming a legend in the audition world, also draws attention. He recounts how he joined the cast of the hit drama 'Reply 1988' after showcasing impressions and dance moves during auditions, and shares his special bond with his Ssangmun-dong friends. Additionally, he reveals the behind-the-scenes of joining MSG Wannabe and his special feelings towards Yoo Jae-suk.

From 'Veteran' to 'The Outlaws 4' and 'Extreme Job,' Lee has become a triple million actor on the big screen. He will also discuss the behind-the-scenes of his new project 'Method Acting,' in which he participated both as an actor and a producer. Viewers can also expect to hear about his deep affection for his family and the story that brought him to tears.
