Romantic Sparks Fly Between Park Jin-young and Kim Min-ju in JTBC's 'Shining'
The JTBC Friday series 'Shining', which premiered on October 6th, tells the heartwarming story of Yeon Tae-seo (played by Park Jin-young) and Mo Eun-ah (played by Kim Min-ju) as they bring light to each other's dark lives. The series has captivated audiences with its tender portrayal of young love, prompting viewers to revisit the couple's first moments together.
In the drama, Yeon Tae-seo, who lost his parents in a tragic accident, and Mo Eun-ah, who has been caring for her father suffering from severe depression after a divorce, first meet during the summer of their nineteenth year. Their chance encounter leads to shared study sessions in an empty library over the break, evoking a sense of youthful innocence and charm.
Following this encounter, Yeon Tae-seo notices Mo Eun-ah's footsteps on the school stairs, reacting with a mix of relief, joy, and perhaps something more, adding to the show's emotional depth.
As their relationship deepens, a sudden confession from Mo Eun-ah momentarily creates awkwardness, but they soon find their way back to each other. During a train ride home from a college entrance seminar in Seoul, they hold hands and declare, "We should stay together forever," marking the beginning of their first love.
'Shining' airs every Friday at 8:50 PM with two consecutive episodes.
