‘I Am SOLO’ Star Youngsoo from Season 22 Announces Serious Relationship Plans

Youngsoo, the anesthesiologist who charmed audiences on the reality show 'I Am SOLO', is receiving congratulations from fans as he announces his serious relationship plans.

The YouTube channel 'Chonjang Entertainment TV', operated by ENA and SBS PLUS, recently uploaded a video titled 'Found My Love?! I Am SOLO Universe Triple Crown Winner Youngsoo's Exclusive Interview'.

In the video, Youngsoo, who has appeared on 'I Am SOLO', 'I Am SOLO: Love Continues', and 'The Bickering Journey', achieving the 'I Am SOLO Universe' Triple Crown, shares his relationship status.

Youngsoo revealed, "I am currently in a serious relationship with someone with the intention of marriage." He mentioned that they started communicating last October and have been officially dating for three months. Out of respect for his partner, who is not a public figure, Youngsoo is cautious about media exposure.

Youngsoo was captivated by his partner's pure and bright energy. He shared, "I was drawn to her bright demeanor and constant smile," and confessed that he was deeply moved by her tears of longing after each date.

He added, "I realized she is the person who can bring joy to my life when I'm struggling," and shared a recent emotional moment where they both cried together.

Interestingly, it was his girlfriend's uncle who played matchmaker. Youngsoo admitted, "Thanks to 'I Am SOLO', I was introduced to her through her uncle," revealing an intriguing backstory.

Youngsoo also expressed gratitude to Youngsook from Season 22, who pointed out his flaws during the show, helping him grow and contributing to his stable relationship.

Recently, Youngsoo shared photos with his partner on social media, sparking interest and speculation that she might be a 20-year-younger Japanese woman. Youngsoo stated, "I believe we should wait at least a year before considering marriage," showing both caution and confidence in his plans. As an anesthesiologist, Youngsoo once shared a touching story about a patient who later introduced him to their child, born under his care.
