Kim Sook's Hilarious Reactions to Luxury Furniture Prices in Seoul's Bangbae-dong
On her YouTube channel 'Kim Sook TV,' a video titled 'Young Fifty's Neighborhood Leader Sook's Bangbae-dong Exploration: My Personal Picks (Eel Rice + Cafe + Fritz Hansen + Bike Shop)' was uploaded.
In the video, Kim Sook visits beloved local spots in Bangbae-dong, exuding her signature cheerful energy. The journey didn't start smoothly, as the first stop, a forest environment library, was unexpectedly closed. Kim Sook humorously lamented, "A mess from the start," providing viewers with a good laugh.
To make up for the disappointment, Kim Sook visited a renowned eel restaurant in Bangbae-dong. She praised the 'Special Deluxe Eel Rice Set,' noting the generous side dishes and the impressive size of the eel, despite the high price. She expressed her desire to bring her parents to taste it, showcasing her gourmet side with admiration for the abalone rice and spicy crab meat rice.
During her visit to a premium living brand store, Kim Sook's astonishment peaked. At a Danish premium furniture store, she was shocked to learn that a designer chair costs 16 million won, exclaiming, "This is not furniture; it's art." She also regretted not purchasing a table she had previously considered, now priced at 1.28 million won.
Towards the end of her exploration, Kim Sook visited a famous egg tart shop and a specialty cafe offering 17 types of coffee beans, enjoying street food with the crew, maintaining her 'neighborhood sister' charm. She also visited an electric bike shop featuring custom products by singer G-Dragon, promising to return for a test ride, successfully concluding her Bangbae-dong tour.
Previously, Kim Sook hinted at her financial status, responding to rumors about Song Eun-yi's 10 billion won fortune by saying, "She hasn't saved as much as you think, and I've saved a lot," sparking interest.
