'Love Prescription' Hits Record Ratings with Romantic Twists
The weekend drama 'Love Prescription' (directed by Han Joon-seo, Bae Eun-hye / written by Park Ji-sook / produced by HB Entertainment), aired on KBS 2TV at 8 PM, recorded a viewership rating of 18.4% for its 11th episode, according to Nielsen Korea's nationwide household data, marking a new personal best.
In the 10th episode, the ongoing feud between the Gong and Yang families provided both laughter and poignancy. Gong Jung-han (played by Kim Seung-soo) and Yang Dong-ik (played by Kim Hyung-mook) humorously exposed each other's past embarrassments during a joint interview, while Gong Dae-han (played by Choi Dae-chul) experienced psychosomatic stomach pain upon encountering Yang Dong-sook (played by Jo Mi-ryung), evoking sympathy. These contrasting scenes captured a segment rating of 19%, intensifying the tangled relationships between the two families and drawing a strong response from viewers.
The highlight of episode 12 was undoubtedly the romantic ending where Gong Joo-ah and Yang Hyun-bin confirmed their feelings for each other. Even during a blind date with Kim So-hye's brother (played by Koo Ja-sung), Gong Joo-ah couldn't stop thinking about Yang Hyun-bin. Eventually, she visited him in a drunken state, expressed her disappointment, and impulsively kissed him. Yang Hyun-bin, catching her before she could flee, kissed her back, igniting viewers' excitement. This scene, signaling the start of their romance, heightened anticipation for the next episode.
Meanwhile, episode 13 of KBS 2TV's weekend drama 'Love Prescription' is set to air on the 14th at 8 PM.
