Ahn Jae-hyun Shares Past Experiences on 'Save Me! Holmes' in Myeongdong

Actor Ahn Jae-hyun opens up about his past experiences on the show 'Save Me! Holmes'.

On the upcoming episode of MBC's 'Save Me! Holmes', airing on the 12th, actors Lim Won-hee, Ahn Jae-hyun, and Joo Woo-jae will explore the historic district of Myeongdong in Seoul.

The episode will feature fashion models Joo Woo-jae and Ahn Jae-hyun, who dominated Myeongdong in the 2000s, alongside Lim Won-hee, a legendary figure from the 1990s at Seoul Institute of the Arts, who remembers Myeongdong's heyday. The trio will explore everything from Myeongdong's iconic shopping streets, known for having the highest land prices in Korea, to the evolution of residential areas in the district.

As they walk through Myeongdong, they reflect on how the area has changed since their frequent visits in the past. Recently, Korean pharmacies have become a must-visit shopping destination for foreign tourists, and the large pharmacies scattered throughout Myeongdong catch their attention. Yang Se-hyung comments on the curious consumer behavior, saying, "Koreans buy foreign medicine when they travel abroad, and foreigners buy Korean medicine when they visit Korea." Jang Dong-min shares a humorous story about visiting a famous Japanese pharmacy in Korea with Choo Sung-hoon, who questioned the effectiveness of the medicine.

The episode also reveals a special anecdote from Joo Woo-jae's past in Myeongdong. In the early 2000s, he became famous after being photographed by chance in Myeongdong, a popular spot for street photography in online magazines. Ahn Jae-hyun adds, "It was unusual not to receive a business card when visiting Myeongdong," sharing his own experience of being street-cast.

The Myeongdong episode of 'Save Me! Holmes' will air on the 12th at 10 PM.
