SBS's New Romance Drama 'Sold Out Again Today' Begins Script Reading with Star-Studded Cast

'Sold Out Again Today' has kicked off its romance with an exciting script reading session.

Set to premiere on April 22, SBS's new Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Sold Out Again Today' is a seasonal romance drama that follows the story of perfectionist farmer Matthew Lee, also known as 'Quail', and top-selling shopping host Dam Yejin, as they become entangled day and night.

Following the success of dramas like 'Business Proposal', 'My Perfect Secretary', and 'Kiss for No Reason!', SBS introduces this new romantic comedy featuring a stellar cast including Ahn Hyo-seop, Chae Won-bin, Kim Bum, and Go Doo-shim, drawing significant attention. The recently revealed script reading session showcased the actors' passion, heightening anticipation.

The script reading was attended by director Ahn Jong-yeon, writer Jin Seung-hee, and the main cast of 'Sold Out Again Today'. Director Ahn Jong-yeon promised a joyful and happy set as the session began, with actors immersing themselves into their characters and syncing their performances.

Ahn Hyo-seop portrayed the character of Matthew Lee, a young farmer nicknamed 'Quail', with a charmingly complex personality. He added a lively energy to the reading by making sound effects with his mouth during scenes involving driving a tractor or working. Chae Won-bin, playing the role of Dam Yejin, a shopping host from Hit Home Shopping, brought vibrancy to the session. Her confident voice and captivating gestures showcased her character's charm as a top host who has achieved sales of over 1 trillion won. Ahn Hyo-seop and Chae Won-bin will share a romantic storyline in the drama.

Kim Bum embodied the character of Seo Eric, the gentle executive director of a cosmetics company, Letoile. Go Doo-shim, playing the role of Song Hak-daek, the influential figure in Deokpung Village, added warmth with her endearing dialect and inviting smile, asking, "Would you like to stay for some potatoes?"

'Sold Out Again Today' will premiere on April 22 at 9 PM.
