K-Drama 'Siren' Captivates Global Audience with Stellar Cast and Gripping Plot
tvN's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Siren' has made a strong debut, achieving high ratings both domestically and on global OTT platforms.
Premiering on October 2nd, 'Siren' introduces viewers to the intense first meeting between the beautiful auctioneer Han Seol-ah (played by Park Min-young), insurance investigator Cha Woo-seok (played by Wi Ha-joon), and the mysterious startup CEO Baek Jun-beom (played by Kim Jung-hyun). The drama claimed the number one spot in countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand, and entered the top 10 in 17 countries, including Brazil, Mexico, and Greece.
Buoyed by this response, 'Siren' is rapidly emerging as a well-made romance thriller, thanks to the actors' immersive performances, fast-paced plot, stylish direction, and sophisticated music.
