Intrigue Builds as 'The Honor' Unveils Wedding Dress-Clad Lawyer Ahead of Episode 11
As 'The Honor: Their Courtroom' gears up for its broadcast today (9th), a new image of lawyer Kang Shin-jae in a wedding dress has been released, sparking curiosity about her decision to join hands with the true antagonist, Baek Tae-joo, played by Yeon Woo-jin. Is she heading straight to marriage, and what drives this bold move?

In the previous episode of ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama 'The Honor: Their Courtroom' (hereafter 'The Honor'), Kang Shin-jae, portrayed by Jung Eun-chae, discovered the real reason behind her engagement to Baek Tae-joo. He had created a secret prostitution app called 'Connect In' to dismantle a high-level cartel of corruption, using Kang Shin-jae and other L&J lawyers as pawns to spread issues like wildfire. Crucially, Kang Shin-jae learned she was the daughter of Seong Tae-im (Kim Mi-sook), the leader of the legacy code 'Haeil' that Baek Tae-joo aimed to destroy. Spurred by Baek Tae-joo's provocation to open her mother's safe, she uncovered a list of sexual favors that disappeared from the prosecution 20 years ago, leaving her in shock.

Despite this revelation, Seong Tae-im remained unfazed and even defiant in front of her daughter, questioning, "Have you enjoyed being righteous?" She reminded Kang Shin-jae of the harsh reality that the ground she stood on, believing she was different from her mother, was actually the same corrupt system that protected power and money. Kang Shin-jae realized she had only fought winnable battles under her mother's protective wing, mistakenly thinking she was changing the world. She also recognized that Seong Tae-im would deny the existence of 'Connect In' and keep Yoon Ra-young imprisoned to protect her clients. Thus, she used a video from Baek Tae-joo to prove her friend's self-defense, deciding to join him in his descent into hell.

The stills capture Kang Shin-jae in a wedding dress, preparing to marry Baek Tae-joo, drawing attention. Additionally, preview videos reveal her holding a USB from Baek Tae-joo, described as "the accomplice and the root of this cartel, the detonator to blow up Haeil," and exposing Haeil. Her long-time friend Yoon Ra-young questions her suspicious actions, saying, "This isn't like Shin-jae." This raises questions about whether Kang Shin-jae's decision to ally with the architect of 'Connect In' is to fully support Baek Tae-joo's plan to bring down Haeil or if it's part of a larger scheme to overturn the entire game. The remaining two episodes will be crucial in revealing the repercussions of Kang Shin-jae's choices.

Whether Kang Shin-jae's whistleblowing will immediately bring Haeil to justice remains uncertain. Seong Tae-im, who has concealed numerous heinous incidents, has instilled a sense of helplessness in the public, believing "the world doesn't change despite anger." She is a formidable iron lady who has never failed to achieve her desires. Despite their constant conflicts, Kang Shin-jae ultimately chooses to sever even the familial bond, aiming to dismantle the massive legacy code of Haeil and change the world. The true intentions behind Kang Shin-jae's bold decision draw significant interest.

Episode 11 of 'The Honor: Their Courtroom' airs tonight (9th) at 10 PM on ENA and is available on KT Genie TV and Coupang Play.
