Emotional Moments Unfold in 'After School Taeri Teacher' as Kim Tae-ri Sheds Tears

Actress Kim Tae-ri was moved to tears.

The third episode of tvN's 'After School Taeri Teacher,' aired on the 8th, showcased the touching growth journey of Kim Tae-ri and Choi Hyun-wook, along with the lively addition of 'Polar Teacher' Kangnam to the after-school drama club.

Kim Tae-ri and Choi Hyun-wook began a new day with a trip to Gomosanseong. The two naturally discussed the children and their classes, with Choi Hyun-wook expressing concern about having to part ways with the kids in about two weeks, showing his deep affection for the drama club.

In the fourth class, Choi Hyun-wook led the warm-up with a louder voice and smoother flow, displaying a more stable presence. Kim Tae-ri and Choi Hyun-wook also played their roles as teachers by assisting and guiding the children during the script reading of 'The Wizard of Oz.'

The novice teachers, after careful consideration of the talents and potential observed during the script reading and the children's votes, assigned roles. However, they faced the disappointment and tears of Hyomin, who was cast as the Scarecrow. Kim Tae-ri comforted Hyomin after class, sharing her genuine feelings, and eventually shed tears with her.

Additionally, the novice teachers discovered Hyomin's true desire to play Toto through a question note, prompting tears from Choi Hyun-wook as well, highlighting the growth of these inexperienced and tender-hearted teachers.

Meanwhile, experienced school entertainment figure Kangnam delighted Kim Tae-ri and Choi Hyun-wook with homemade dishes like gochujang stew, fried rice, and grilled mackerel during the drama club sessions. His lively and candid conversations, including announcing a day off for a friend's wedding, filled the dormitory with joyful energy.

Kangnam also bonded with Choi Hyun-wook as a running mate, preparing a spicy kalguksu breakfast with ingredients from a local truck, and collaborated with Kim Tae-ri and Choi Hyun-wook for their first joint class, drawing attention to his debut as 'Polar Teacher.'
