Broadcaster Kim So-young Shares Her First Childbirth Experience and Prepares for Second Baby

Broadcaster Kim So-young has opened up about her experience of giving birth to her first daughter for the first time.

On the 7th, a video titled "Kim So-young's First Childbirth Story, Oh Sang-jin in the Delivery Room?!, and Packing a Hospital Bag for the Second Baby" was uploaded on Kim So-young's YouTube channel 'Ddingguri TV'.

In the video, Kim So-young, while preparing a hospital bag for her second childbirth, mentioned, "I packed only the essentials, wondering if this is really okay."

Kim So-young shared her thoughts on 'natural childbirth'. She said, "I prefer completely natural childbirth, I'm a strong advocate for it," and added, "It's not that I have a special philosophy, but honestly, I'm too scared of a C-section."

Currently, her baby is in a breech position, and she expressed her hope for a natural birth by saying, "I pray every day for the baby to turn."

Kim So-young also shared her relatively smooth first childbirth experience. She recalled, "I had an induced labor for my first child, but the pain was almost non-existent," and added, "The hospital said the baby would likely come out the next day, so my husband rearranged his schedule and stayed with me at the hospital."

The actual delivery process was relatively quick. Kim So-young revealed, "After receiving an epidural, the doctor told me to push, and after about four pushes, the baby came out," surprising many.

She added, "I went to the hospital in the morning and gave birth around 5 PM."

She also mentioned her husband Oh Sang-jin's reaction. Kim So-young said, "My husband isn't usually expressive, but that day he stayed by my side," and added with a laugh, "The baby came out so quickly that he missed the moment to cry from emotion."

Additionally, Kim So-young shared a unique reaction from her husband, saying, "When he went to see the baby, he was worried the baby might get switched."

Meanwhile, Oh Sang-jin and Kim So-young, who was his junior at MBC, got married in 2017 after two years of dating. Kim So-young is currently a busy entrepreneur running various brands, and recently made headlines for receiving a 7 billion won investment from a renowned investment firm.
