Kim Tae-ri's Journey as a Teacher in 'After School Teacher Tae-ri' Captivates Viewers

Kim Tae-ri's time as a teacher is becoming more profound. In a recent episode, a scene where Choi Hyun-wook receives a scolding from Kim Tae-ri during a meal sparked reactions among viewers, wondering if he was being 'disciplined.'

On the October 8th episode of tvN's variety show 'After School Teacher Tae-ri,' Kim Tae-ri's journey of growing pains as a teacher was depicted.

Kim Tae-ri stepped out with Choi Hyun-wook for a breath of fresh air and to enjoy the approaching autumn. They went for a drive, and even during this brief respite, she filled the time with discussions about the drama club students, showcasing her transformation into a real teacher.

After a short break, Kim Tae-ri returned to her role as a teacher. In the fourth class, roles for the school play 'The Wizard of Oz' were assigned. After a script reading, the results were announced following a vote by the students and discussions among the teachers, but not everyone was satisfied.

One student, who didn't get the desired role, shed tears, and Kim Tae-ri, feeling apologetic, explained the reason for assigning the Scarecrow role, hoping her sincerity would reach the student. After the student left, Kim Tae-ri was visibly upset, worried that her decision might have hurt the student, and she shed tears, moving viewers as well.

The atmosphere shifted with the introduction of a new assistant teacher, Kangnam. Although it was their first meeting, the three quickly adapted to each other as if they were old friends, cheering each other on. Their dynamic, oscillating between seriousness and humor, hinted at the formation of a unique chemistry, raising expectations.

Through the process of laughing, crying, clashing, and contemplating with the students, Kim Tae-ri is gradually becoming a genuine teacher. Her time with the students, though clumsy, is filled with sincerity, and her after-school drama club sessions are becoming increasingly anticipated as they grow stronger.
