Veteran Actor Baek Il-seob Expresses Concern for Fellow Actor Choi Bul-am's Health
On the October 8th broadcast of MBN's 'Altoran', Baek Il-seob, who has been in the industry for 61 years, appeared as a guest to share updates on his life and career.
During the show, Baek Il-seob mentioned the late actor Lee Soon-jae, who recently passed away, saying, "I feel an emptiness in my heart." The broadcast included a touching moment showing Lee Soon-jae smiling warmly at Baek Il-seob.
Reflecting on his over 60-year acting career, Baek Il-seob candidly shared his thoughts, saying, "I often feel a void," as he experiences the loss or absence of colleagues.
Baek Il-seob also expressed concern for another long-time colleague, Choi Bul-am.
He shared, "I haven't been able to reach Bul-am lately," adding, "He doesn't answer his phone, and I'm worried." Baek Il-seob expressed his concern for Choi Bul-am's health, saying, "I'm hesitant to ask too many questions."
Previously, 'Country Diary' actor Park Eun-soo also appeared on MBN's 'Special World', where he mentioned Choi Bul-am's health issues, adding to the concern. Park Eun-soo noted, "Many of our senior colleagues are passing away or are in poor health," and specifically mentioned Choi Bul-am's health challenges.
