Kim So-hye Shines as Enthusiastic Intern in 'Efficient Meeting of Singles'

Kim So-hye, a former member of I.O.I and actress, who was previously embroiled in school violence allegations three years ago, has caught attention with her passionate role as an intern in 'Efficient Meeting of Singles'.

Premiering on the 28th of last month, 'Efficient Meeting of Singles' is a JTBC weekend drama starring Han Ji-min and Park Sung-hoon. The series follows a woman who decides to find love through blind dates, meeting two men with different charms, and ultimately discovering the true meaning of love. In the drama, Kim So-hye plays the role of Shim Sae-byeok, an intern in the purchasing team at The Hills Hotel, showcasing her fresh charm.

In the first episode, Sae-byeok accompanies Lee Yi-young (played by Han Ji-min) and Jung Hyun-min (played by Jung Hye-sung) on a long-distance business trip. She shows her enthusiasm by asking questions and taking notes diligently before departure. Although initially disheartened by Hyun-min's indifferent reaction, Sae-byeok regains her bright smile with Yi-young's encouragement, delighting viewers with her youthful and lovable demeanor.

After completing the fieldwork, Sae-byeok returns to the accommodation and takes care of her seniors' meals, fulfilling her role as the youngest team member. During a drinking session, she receives a public confession from Kang Do-hyun (played by Shin Jae-ha), a corporate lawyer from the legal team. Contrary to everyone's belief that Do-hyun's affections were directed towards Yi-young, it turns out his heart is set on Sae-byeok. Shocked and unable to hide her surprise, Sae-byeok's reaction heightened the drama's engagement.

Kim So-hye's standout performance in the first episode of 'Efficient Meeting of Singles' has left viewers eager to see how her relationship with Shin Jae-ha will evolve following the unexpected confession, as well as her chemistry with company seniors Han Ji-min and Jung Hye-sung.
