Channel A's 'Chef and Hunter' continues to struggle with ratings, hitting another all-time low of 0.5% during its latest episode aired on the 5th. The show has consistently recorded ratings in the 0% range for all nine episodes.

In the recent episode, the teams embarked on a challenging mission to hunt both spiny lobsters and squid. The lobster team, consisting of Edward Lee, Kim Dae-ho, and Pani Bottle, and the squid team, featuring Choo Sung-hoon and Lim Woo-il, faced high stakes as success required capturing both targets.

Despite being new to 'diving hunting,' the lobster team was fueled by Pani Bottle's enthusiasm, who even brought his own gear. As they dove into the sea, Kim Dae-ho was the first to spot movement in a rocky crevice. Although he surfaced to report the location instead of attempting a capture, Pani Bottle soon followed and managed to grab the lobster's antennae. Despite the initial failure when the antennae broke, Pani Bottle persisted and successfully captured the lobster by its body. His understanding of lobster behavior led to a second successful capture, making him the hero of the lobster team. The second lobster was significantly larger, turning the scene into a festive celebration.

The squid team, however, faced a tense atmosphere as they struggled with a lack of bites. Choo Sung-hoon received his first bite after two hours but lost the squid due to hasty reeling. Undeterred, he tried again and successfully caught a squid, celebrating his victory. Riding the wave of success, he caught another, bringing his total to two squids.

Lim Woo-il, on the other hand, faced disappointment as he only managed to reel in a rock instead of a squid. Choo Sung-hoon humorously teased him, asking, "What does it feel like not to catch anything?"

Back at base camp, both teams celebrated their successful missions with a lavish dinner. Edward Lee prepared lobster pasta and ceviche-style squid pasta with homemade noodles. The team members praised the dishes, with Kim Dae-ho commenting on the excellent harmony with the lobster, and Pani Bottle expressing his delight by savoring every last bit of sauce.

The hunters now face their final challenge. Will they succeed in their last hunt, attempting to redeem themselves from their initial failure with goat hunting in the Philippines? All eyes are on their concluding journey.
