Seo Ji-hye Joins Cast of ENA's Crime Thriller 'Scarecrow'
The new ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Scarecrow' (directed by Park Joon-woo, written by Lee Ji-hyun, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by Studio Anzailen) is a crime investigation thriller that unfolds as a detective, who was investigating a serial murder case, unexpectedly forms an alliance with someone he despises. The drama has already garnered attention with the casting of trusted actors like Park Hae-soo, Lee Hee-jun, and Kwak Sun-young, and now Seo Ji-hye's addition to the cast is drawing further interest.
Seo Ji-hye will play the role of Kang Soon-young, the sister of Kang Tae-joo (played by Park Hae-soo), an ace detective who is demoted to his hometown of Gangseong. Soon-young is a kind-hearted elementary school teacher who cherishes children and becomes entangled in an unforeseen incident. Seo Ji-hye is expected to portray the character's evolution from her initially confident and bright demeanor to her gradually changing psyche with great detail.
Building on her solid filmography, Seo Ji-hye is once again attempting a transformation in her acting with 'Scarecrow'. Having recently signed an exclusive contract with agency 51k, she is experiencing a double celebration, and all eyes are on her future endeavors.
Meanwhile, ENA's Monday-Tuesday drama 'Scarecrow', featuring Seo Ji-hye, is set to premiere in the first half of 2026 on ENA and will also be available on KT Genie TV.
