Yeom Hye-ran Jokes About Changing Her Name as a Box Office Pledge for 'Mad Dance Office'
On the October 5th broadcast of MBC FM4U's 'Noon Song of Hope with Kim Shin-young' (hereafter referred to as 'Noon Song'), Yeom Hye-ran and Choi Sung-eun, stars of the movie 'Mad Dance Office,' appeared as guests.
Kim Shin-young joked, "You're like a sunfish, a fragile sister," to which Yeom Hye-ran responded, "Yeom Bok-chi sounds good," agreeing with a laugh. She added, "The other day, someone said, 'If it surpasses a million, change your name as a pledge.' Isn't name-changing a trend? I was thinking about what to change it to, and 'Yeom Bok-chi' sounds good," she laughed.
Director Jang Hang-jun had previously pledged to change his name, undergo plastic surgery, and naturalize as a citizen as a ten-million-viewer promise for the movie 'The King and the Clown.' However, when the movie actually reached ten million viewers, he revised his pledge. Instead of fulfilling the original promises, Director Jang held a coffee truck event.
