Kang Ho-dong's New Talk Show 'Kang Ho-dong Bookstore' Premieres with Ha Jung-woo's Candid Life Stories

In the first episode of Coupang Play's variety show 'Kang Ho-dong Bookstore,' Kang Ho-dong transforms into 'Hocrates' and shares an open-hearted conversation with his first guest, Ha Jung-woo. The episode draws attention as it reveals Ha Jung-woo's current status, just a month after he began a public relationship with Cha Jung-won.

'Kang Ho-dong Bookstore' is a talk show where the loud-voiced yet tender-hearted INFP bookstore owner 'Hocrates' (Kang Ho-dong) engages in genuine conversations with guests who visit his bookstore.

The released preview of the first episode captures the non-stop banter between 'Hocrates' and Ha Jung-woo. As Ha Jung-woo opens the bookstore door, he immediately sets the tone with his cool remark, "I'm here to sell some books." In response, 'Hocrates' retorts, "We only accept stories," creating a unique tension and delightful humor from their first encounter.

'Hocrates,' known as the last disciple of Socrates who was exiled for asking too many questions, meticulously explores the paths his guests have walked with a persistent yet pure perspective. When asked, "What is your most regrettable choice?" Ha Jung-woo candidly replies, "A few bad investments," showcasing his honesty and humor. The conversation, which starts lightly, deepens into a profound life story as 'Hocrates' carefully introduces topics like, "What if you had focused more on acting than directing?"

The preview ends with the question, "Are you happy?" to which Ha Jung-woo responds, "I am happy," leaving viewers curious about the journey that led him to this conclusion and heightening anticipation for the full episode.
