Hong Seok-cheon Announces Adoption Daughter's Upcoming Wedding on 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2'
On the episode aired on the 3rd, Hong Seok-cheon appeared as a special MC, bringing his unique charm to the show. He humorously mentioned his temporary retirement from the restaurant business, now focusing on his new venture, 'Minam Michelin'.
Hong, who once managed 13 restaurants in Itaewon with a revenue of 10 billion won, was asked why he didn't participate in 'Black and White Chef 2'. He humorously admitted, "I wasn't confident. I was sure I'd be eliminated." He added, "If I had participated, I would have made it to the TOP 14," joking about the skills of other chefs on the show.
He humorously noted, "Female chefs don't catch my eye. It's Chef Son Jong-won who stands out to me." This led to laughter as Jo Woo-jong chimed in, "People say I resemble Son Jong-won, but a downgraded version," while Seo Jang-hoon added, "Jo Woo-jong always tries to associate himself with trending people."
Kim Gura humorously pointed out, "Parents of the bride usually list a thousand names. There's a higher chance of me and Seo Jang-hoon attending than Byun Woo-seok and Lee Jun-young."
Hong Seok-cheon adopted his sister's children, a daughter and a son, in 2008 after her divorce, becoming their legal guardian. Despite initial resistance from his daughter due to the change in surname, they have maintained a loving father-daughter relationship.
