Kim Ji-min Opens Up About Her Journey to Parenthood on 'Mysterious Story 2'

Kim Ji-min (41), who tied the knot with Kim Jun-ho (50) last July, shares her plans for starting a family.

On the 9th episode of SBS Plus's variety show 'Mysterious Story 2', airing on the 3rd at 10:30 PM, Kim Ji-min and DickPunks member Kim Tae-hyun will explore the theme of 'fate' and discuss their curiosities.

As Kim Ji-min makes her entrance, host Lee Guk-joo congratulates her on her marriage, saying, “You’ve experienced your seniors. I think you two are a perfect match.” Kim Ji-min agrees, humorously adding, “It all comes back to Kim Jun-ho. After turning everyone else down, it was Kim Jun-ho all along,” eliciting laughter.

In a playful moment, Lee Guk-joo asks how much they love their partners by requesting them to raise their left hands. Kim Ji-min and Kim Tae-hyun comply, revealing only Kim Tae-hyun is wearing a wedding ring. When asked why, Kim Ji-min explains, “I’ve gotten used to not wearing it. My husband always wears his. He doesn’t mind if I don’t wear mine anymore.”

Throughout the show, Kim Ji-min exudes a cheerful energy but turns serious when she reveals, “We’re preparing for a child. We’ll start IVF treatments early next month. Do you think it will happen this year?”

The fortune tellers advise Kim Ji-min to take care of her health, especially during the lunar months of May and June, surprising her with their insights. They also delve into predictions about her future child.
