Revealing the Past: Na-young Lee's Character Faces Trauma in 'Honor: Her Courtroom'
The ENA drama 'Honor: Her Courtroom' follows three lawyers from the firm L&J (Listen & Join) - Yoon Ra-young (played by Na-young Lee), Kang Shin-jae (played by Eun-chae Jung), and Hwang Hyun-jin (played by Cheong-ah Lee) - as they engage in intense legal battles. The narrative explores how their friendship will influence the remaining four episodes.
Yoon Ra-young was the most direct victim of a fateful incident 20 years ago, having been assaulted by her then-boyfriend Park Je-yul (played by Hyun-woo Seo), which led to the birth of her daughter. Despite her fear of being eternally labeled as a victim, she bravely shared her story to prevent others from suffering the same fate.
Kang Shin-jae is a steadfast support, always there to lean on. As threats against the L&J trio intensified, she asked her friends if they could continue, to which they replied, "We can't stop." Kang Shin-jae pledged to handle the consequences, supporting their decision.
Amidst financial pressure from her mother, Seong Tae-im (played by Mi-sook Kim), Kang Shin-jae decided to marry for the third time to maintain L&J's mission of supporting victims. Her priority was creating a safe space for her colleagues and victims of crimes against women. While the strategic marriage's success remains uncertain, Kang Shin-jae quietly shouldered the heaviest responsibility to keep their sanctuary intact.
With only four episodes left, 'Honor: Her Courtroom' promises to reveal the outcome of the friends' journey, their fight for truth, and the unyielding solidarity of victims against a dark past.
'Honor: Her Courtroom' airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM.
