Chae Jong-hyeop's Bold Confession to Lee Sung-kyung Captivates Viewers in 'The Brilliant Season of You'

Chae Jong-hyeop's heartfelt confession to Lee Sung-kyung has left viewers swooning.

On the October 28th episode of MBC's 'The Brilliant Season of You' (directed by Jeong Sang-hee, Kim Young-jae/written by Jo Sung-hee), viewers witnessed Sun Woo-chan (played by Chae Jong-hyeop) making a bold move towards Song Ha-ran (played by Lee Sung-kyung).

During the episode, Song Ha-ran found herself alone in a car with Sun Woo-chan and asked, "Why am I someone you shouldn't like?" When Sun Woo-chan hesitated, she pressed further, "Why shouldn't you like me?"

Previously, Song Ha-ran had overheard a conversation between Kim Sun (played by Kang Ae-shim) and Sun Woo-chan. Kim Sun had asked Sun Woo-chan, "Do you like Designer Song? Isn't it true?" To which Sun Woo-chan replied, "It's really not like that. She's someone I shouldn't like."

Kim Sun, puzzled, responded, "Why is there someone you shouldn't like? Are you saying you like a married woman?" A startled Sun Woo-chan replied, "No, she's not married." Kim Sun then asked, "Then why can't you like her?" Sun Woo-chan avoided the question, and Song Ha-ran interrupted their conversation by asking Kim Sun for a towel.

Referring to this, Song Ha-ran said, "I'm sorry, but I overheard everything. I just can't interpret it." She continued, "It's not that you don't like me, but that you shouldn't like me. That sounds strange. I'm not married, and there's nothing that should be an issue. What does it mean?" She clarified, "I'm not trying to pry; I'm genuinely curious."

Sun Woo-chan then asked, "Then, can I like you?" His sudden confession left Song Ha-ran speechless and frozen. Sun Woo-chan leaned in as if to kiss her, creating a moment of anticipation and excitement.
