Influencer Sung Hae-eun Addresses Speculations on Her $6 Million Apartment
Even after clarifying that she is renting, not owning, the apartment, speculation and opinions continue to spread online.
Recently, Sung Hae-eun shared a vlog on her YouTube channel about moving into a new apartment in Banpo. The apartment is reportedly valued between $3 million and $6 million, depending on the size. This led to speculation that she might have purchased the apartment.
Her videos titled 'New Luxury Apartment Tour' and 'Inside the Luxury Apartment' garnered 470,000 and 270,000 views respectively, drawing significant attention.
In the videos, Sung Hae-eun showcased the apartment's amenities, including a gym, golf course, sauna, swimming pool, restaurant, café, and a sky bridge observatory, stating, "Our apartment community is well-equipped."
On the 27th, Sung Hae-eun addressed the rumors directly on her channel. She explained, "I posted a moving vlog, and people misunderstood, thinking I owned the place. A real estate agent even said I bought it."
She further clarified, "I found a great opportunity to rent at the right time," denying the ownership rumors. She added, "It was scary to see articles about it. I wish I owned it too. It would be great if I did."
Other netizens question, "Is it necessary to disclose whether it's owned or rented?" and "Even renting for $2 million is impressive." Meanwhile, others suggest, "The video could be misleading," and "Being an influencer means attracting public interest." These discussions and comments are spreading across various communities and social media platforms.
Sung Hae-eun previously mentioned her experience living in a semi-basement apartment, saying, "Housing was a complex for me, and broadly speaking, poverty was a complex. The movie 'Parasite' felt like my story, and it was painful."
She gained popularity after appearing on tvN's reality show 'Transit Love 2' and transitioned from a flight attendant to an influencer with 1.3 million subscribers, making headlines for moving into a high-end apartment within a few years.
