Comedian Kim Young-chul Shares His Journey to Study in the UK

Comedian Kim Young-chul has shared an update from the UK.

On the 27th, a video titled "Honorary Briton Comes to Help Kim Young-chul Against Racism (Education, Coping Strategies)" was posted on 'Kim Young-chul Original.'

In the video, Kim Young-chul announced his upcoming departure to the UK, stating, "I'm heading to the UK for a new challenge," as he embarks on his study abroad journey.

He admitted, "I'm leaving next week, but I haven't prepared much for studying abroad," adding, "I need to know something before I go. If I just go without preparation, it will be like hitting a rock with my head," as he invited his special tutor, British native Baek Jin-kyung, to his home.

Kim Young-chul expressed his concerns about speaking English in the UK, saying, "I'm nervous because my English is from language school," and "I heard British people all speak like Adele," revealing his worries.

Kim Young-chul mentioned, "Senior Lee Sang recommended that I would fit well with the UK," to which Baek Jin-kyung responded, "British people are chatty," making Kim Young-chul smile with excitement.

When asked about 'how to handle dangerous situations,' Baek Jin-kyung advised, "Be cautious of thieves and pickpockets in the UK," and emphasized, "Don't walk around at night." In case of an emergency, "Call '999' for help. They will ask if you need the police or an ambulance," she explained.

Baek Jin-kyung also warned about pickpockets, advising, "If someone takes your belongings, never fight back. It's dangerous," and "Always use a strap for your phone and keep it on your body."

The video concluded with a glimpse of Kim Young-chul's departure to the UK, capturing attention. He teased future episodes with captions like "I thought studying in the UK would be fun," "Caught in the rain," "A pickpocket incident at a restaurant," and "A dangerous situation at the accommodation at midnight," sparking curiosity.
